I’m a Virtual Assistant and Digital project manager based in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

Starting off my early 20’s at university and travelling the world (I could bore you to tears with my travelling stories – you have been warned) I decided to get my foot in the world of advertising and digital.

Kicking off my career as a project manager in a large healthcare agency in London, I was guided through the meticulous processes and attention to detail that I still hold onto, to this day.

I then moved onto a consumer agency where I worked with the likes of Tesco and Nike, which provided a more rounded view and allowed me to produce my own way of working.

As I was getting old(er) I decided on a slower pace of life (how Covid of me) I moved to West Sussex and joined an agency where I had the best of both worlds in terms of pharma and consumer.

One day I was snowed under with my workload, after all, project managers wear multiple hats. We populate content, create wireframes, deal with financial reconciliations, QA website, mediator between the digital and accounts department, the list goes on. I thought to myself “If only there was a person that could at least take on some of these tasks, even if it means checking work has been updated from a client review before I send it” then it dawned on me “why not me?” and that is how Gemma Mason VA LTD was born.

With this move to working for myself, remotely, it has allowed me more time doing the things I love, such as going to the beach or pub with the people I love most and my two rescue dogs Bella and Bailey. Or folding every item of clothing.

Life is too short not to have a great work-life balance and this is something I can assist people in doing. After all, nobody wants to be working into the late hours, reference linking on Veeva PromoMats or double checking documents that the design team have updated, let me take on these tasks and let you get home at a decent hour.
